CompTIA SecAI+
SecAI+ covers securing AI systems, data and models, using AI tools for detection, response and security automation, and applying governance, risk and compliance requirements to AI adoption. CompTIA designed it for practitioners with three to four years of IT experience, about two of them in cybersecurity, who are adding AI security to an existing role. It is not intended for people entering cybersecurity for the first time.

Multiple-choice and performance-based questions, delivered at a Pearson VUE test center or online through Pearson OnVUE.

Requirements and Renewal
Prerequisites
None required. CompTIA recommends 3 to 4 years in IT, including at least 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity, and Security+, CySA+, PenTest+ or equivalent knowledge.
Renewal
Earn 15 CEUs within the three-year cycle and pay the $75 CE fee, or renew without a CE fee by passing the latest version of the exam or through CertMaster CE. Earning SecAI+ does not fully renew any other CompTIA certification.
